What’s a typical day like for you at work? And how do you feel about the work you do?

As a director, I am responsible for the day-to-day management of business operations and overseeing project execution. I also manage key client relationships, ensuring successful project delivery and maintaining strong partnerships with major clients such as Alliance Group and Fonterra.

What do you think are the best skills that you bring to your job?

I have 20 years in the construction industry, during which I have worked on a lot of high-end housing. I am a strong communicator and always want the best results for my clients. I have a strong eye for detail.

What do you like/enjoy about your work?

I enjoy seeing a project from start to finish and bringing the client's dreams to reality.

Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about? Or what do you like to do outside of work?

Outside of work, I like to be in the outdoors with my family or out on the lake. I coach my son's Rippa rugby team.

What’s a goal you have for yourself that you want to achieve?

I want to continue to run Ajax Building as a successful business and one day hand on to the next generation.
