What’s a typical day like for you at work? And how do you feel about the work you do?

I enjoy the diverse and challenging nature of the work I do in my role at Ajax. Each day brings new tasks and opportunities to problem-solve, whether it’s assessing and quoting jobs, drafting plans, or ensuring health and safety standards are met. This variety keeps me engaged and constantly learning, which makes my work both rewarding and fulfilling.

 

What do you think are the best skills that you bring to your job?

Strong communication, the ability to work effectively both as part of a team and individually, good time management, and organisational skills.

I enjoy the diverse and challenging nature of the work, and the positive workplace atmosphere we have at Ajax.

Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about? Or what do you like to do outside of work?

Outside of work, I stay active by playing rugby, spending time with my family, and volunteering with the Eastern Southland Special Olympics team.

 

What’s a goal you have for yourself that you want to achieve?

I'm currently working towards designing and building my own house.
